Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings have been in need of a true post player since the trade of DeMarcus Cousins. With the Kings going through a rebuild, the time is now to add a veteran presence to the fold. While Harrison Barnes has been a great addition, the Kings need a player who’s willing to do the dirty work in the post.

Even at the age of 34, Howard still has legs under him to give the Kings more production than what they’re getting from the likes of Richaun Holmes or Alex Len. The Kings have an explosive backcourt with De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield to go with the veteran presence of Barnes and solid two-way players Bogdan Bogdanovic and Nemanja Bjelica.

The Kings are right on the cusp of making the playoffs with a few offseason tweaks. While Howard may want to go to a contender, helping a team reach that next level could be the icing on the cake to help rebuild his image.
