NBA Free Agency 2020: 3 early ideal landing spots for Serge Ibaka

A particular skill-set that has become quite valuable in the NBA in recent years is one that resembles Toronto Raptors big man Serge Ibaka. He provides a versatile defensive impact that features rim protection along with an ability to space the floor on offense.

Ibaka originally signed a three-year, $65M deal with the Raptors back in 2017 and it will come to an end after this current NBA season. He will be entering free agency during an uncertain time with the salary cap but should command no shortage of interest.

After spending more time at the center position in addition to the power forward spot, Ibaka has further increased his value as a player. That type of versatility will help him to make a positive impact and have an important role for basically any team.

Before the NBA suspended the season, Ibaka was averaging 16.0 points (51.8% FG, 39.8% 3P, 74.8% FT), 8.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists. He continued to provide a consistent impact on both ends of the floor in a valuable role on an elite team.

With that being said, there are three early landing spots that could be ideal for Serge Ibaka.
