If the Heat lose Goran Dragic in free agency, there would be more room for Millsap. If he’ll take the mid-level exception on the idea of chasing a title with Jimmy Butler and company, it’s very palatable for Miami. Of course if the salary cap drops, it will be a little tighter but still possible.

Millsap brings a little bit of everything to he table, with the ability to score from the rim out to the 3-point line and the ability to defend multiple positions.

Pat Riley and the Heat can never be ruled out on a player they might covet. Millsap is not a big star, but he looks like the kind of piece that can help bring another title to Miami in the next couple years.
