Orlando Magic: 3 Hypothetical Trade Packages Involving Nikola Vucevic

After a long stretch of inactivity, a Woj Bomb dropped to end August announcing that Houston was trading Ryan Anderson and rookie De’Anthony Melton to Phoenix for Brandon Knight and Marquese Chriss.

That may not be the only trade that happens before the season starts. It has been reported that the Orlando Magic are shopping Nikola Vucevic. He is a good player, who can score shoot, pass, and rebound but has defensive limitations. Still, he can help a lot of teams.

The thinking behind this is that Orlando would move him to receive value for him before he hits the open market next summer as a free agent. Also, trading him now would enable the Magic to maximize opportunities for Mo Bamba right out of the gate.

Vucevic is coming off a season with averages of 29.5 minutes, 16.5 points (47.5% FG, 31.4% 3P, 81.9% FT), 9.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.0 steal, 1.1 blocks, and 1.9 turnovers. He also produced 29 double-doubles and a triple-double within his 57 regular season appearances.
